Linux on a USB Flash Drive
- Aim for most people is a portable Linux that does not need to be installed
- Another likely use is for recovery of a failed system
- Should not leave "deposits" on the host system
- No change to existing boot
- Linux version should be "small" to keep the device cost down
- Should limit writes to the USB device
